Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Arch, Tonye Cole says he will focus on digital infrastructure if elected governor of the state.
Speaking, during a radio interview in Port Harcourt on Monday, Cole said the first kinds of highways that his administration will build in the state are digital highways.
According to him, the fundamental infrastructure that is needed in the state is technology, adding that they will bring in “fibre optics that can connect every nooks of the state.“
He also said that he would keep to his campaign promises geared towards bettering the lives of Rivers people.
“The first kinds of Highways we will build in Rivers State is a Digital Highway. The first kind of infrastructure we will focus on in Rivers State is Digital Infrastructure,” he said.
“The fundamental infrastructure that’s needed in Rivers State is Technology. We need to bring in Fibre optics that can connect every nooks of Rivers State. We would do it!” he added.
