The Rivers APC has dragged the People’s Democratic Party, it’s Governorship Candidate, SIM Fubara and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt.
The APC is praying the court to disqualify all 31 candidates of the PDP from participating in next year’s general elections for not properly signing the letter containing the names of candidates before forwarding to INEC.
The APC, is also asking the court to disqualify all candidates of the party for allegedly delaying to forward the register containing the names of their candidates.
The presiding Judge, Justice Fibi adjourned the case to August 31 for hearing.
This was after lawyer to the APC requested for time to serve all respondents in the matter.
