Youths under the auspices of the South South Youth Initiative, have vowed not to support the presidential ambition of Governor, Nyesom Wike over what they described as “bad governance.”
National President of SSYI, Imeabe Saviour disclosed this during a press briefing n Port Harcourt.
According to him, Wike should put his presidential ambition on hold till he fulfills the campaign promises he made to Rivers people.
He accused Wike of failing to pay gratuities, pension, and provide jobs for the teeming Rivers youths since he assumed office 7 years ago.
Imeabe, issued a 2-month ultimatum to the Rivers governor to meet their demands or face a massive protest by the organization at Government House, Port Harcourt.
He explained that Gov. Wike cannot further his ambition without fulfilling their demands, adding that he has sacrificed the welfare of the state for his personal ambition.
