The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe has warned that nobody should rig the forthcoming election in the state in his favor.
Speaking, during a stakeholders meeting in Ogoni, Abe said he wants Rivers people to choose who they want, and that he has given them enough reasons why he should be chosen.
He assured that he will win next year’s election, and be sworn-in as governor of the state come May 29 2023.
Abe, disclosed that no one person can intimidate people of the state to do his/her bidding, as nobody can cook for an entire community to eat.
He said Rivers people want justice which he represents, adding that the Okirikas, Ikwerres, Kalabaris, Ijaws amongst others are in support of him.
The former lawmaker also said that all those who want a better Rivers State are behind him, and that nobody can stop him from occupying Brick House next year.
He said people who do not want to see him sworn-in as governor of the state should avoid venue of the swearing-in, for them not to see.
