Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe has said that no one person can decide who Rivers people will vote for in the forthcoming elections.
Abe, disclosed this during a meeting with Anglican Bishops in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
According to him, everybody has one vote, and that nobody can cajole Rivers people to vote for a particular candidate.
He stated that those with their Permanent Voters Cards will decide who govern them in 2023.
He called on Rivers people and Nigerians to ensure they get their PVCs and vote in credible leaders that have the capacity to transform the nation, as it is not the responsibility of one man or a group of persons.
The Anglican Bishops on their part, commended Abe for the visit, noting that they open to everybody.
The Bishops prayed for a peaceful election, and urged politicians not to promise what they cannot fulfil.
