Few hours after some former Super Eagles players reportedly endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president, pictures of the players endorsing Governor, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, few weeks ago has flooded social media.
Some Nigerians who were dissatisfied with the actions of the players shared the photos online.
A Twitter user accused the players of endorsing every and anyone that comes their way, all for money.
Recall that presidential hopeful, Omoyele Sowore had blasted the former Super Eagles players, for endorsing Bola Ahmed Tinubu.The ex internationals which includes: Austin Okocha, Taribo West, Kanu Nwankwo and Victor Ikpeba had visited Tinubu’s home on Saturday, in preparation of a novelty match to mark his 70th birthday, on Sunday.
Shortly, after the meeting, Sowore took to his Twitter handle to slam the former players, noting that the move was driven by hunger.
