Rivers State Governor, Barr, Nyesom Nyesom Wike has reportedly donated 25 buses to the Peoples Democratic Party campaign team in Benue state.
According to The Cable, Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom said this on Tuesday at the inauguration of the PDP campaign council in Makurdi, the state capital.
Ortom who commended his Rivers State counterpart, said Wike promised to be in Makurdi for the official flag-off of the campaigns in the state on Monday.
According to him, Wike has always identified with residents of the state.
He also called on the leadership of the PDP to address issues in the party so as to stand a chance of winning next year’s presidential election.
“All I and my colleagues want is for the committee of the whole house to address the issues holistically.”
“If the issues that the five governors raised are not resolved, I cannot guarantee what will happen during the presidential election,” he said.
