148 Persons Have So Far Died of Covid in Rivers – NCDC

Rivers State recorded 74 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,557 with 10,583 discharged and 148 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Tuesday.

In total, Nigeria recorded 519 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -120, Ondo-110, Rivers-74, Edo-63, FCT-58, Oyo-31, Kaduna-15, Bayelsa-11, Cross River-11, Delta-11, Kano-5, Ogun-4, Plateau-3, Adamawa-2 and Gombe-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 200,057 with 188,719 discharged and 2637 deaths.

Meanwhile, the FG has said that the country would receive extra doses of vaccines in the second quarter of next year.
