A 14-year-old boy was on Sunday arrested by operatives of the Diobu Security Services while robbing residents of Ikwerre road at the Emenike axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt of their personal belongings.
Leader of the vigilante group, Prince Amatari disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He said the suspect was arrested after they received a distress call from residents of the area.
He added that they immediately mobilized to the scene and arrested the suspect while two others escaped.
Amatari also said the teenager who confessed that he took to crime because of hunger was later handed over to the Mile 1 Police Division.
