The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL, says 69 illegal pipeline connections were discovered in the Niger Delta region in the past week.

NNPCL in a statement also said 14 illegal refineries were destroyed in the area within the period.

It warned those involved in the illegal act to desist from it as it is destroying the nation’s economy.

“In the past week, 69 illegal pipeline connections were uncovered, and 14 illegal refineries were destroyed in the Niger Delta,” the company said.
