Leader of Kengema Unity Forum (KUF), Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich has said that National Assembly members should be blamed for the three percent alloted to host communities in the Petroleum Industry Act.
Speaking, at a press briefing over the weekend, Jackrich said the assembly members failed to protect the interest of the region.
However, he said if the money is judiciously used it would ensure economic development of the region.
He blasted Governors of the Niger Delta for failing to properly use the thirteen percent oil derivation to develop their states.
He specifically slammed Governor Nyesom Wike, accusing him of misappropriation of taxpayers money.
He challenged Wike to mention a single project he has embarked upon with his share of the thirteen percent.
