Rivers 2023: Amaechi Loses LGA to PDP

Former Governor of Rivers State and leader of APC in the state, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Ameachi, has lost his local government area, Ikwerre to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to the results announced by the electoral umpire, PDP polled a total of 13,716 votes while the All Progressive Congress (APC) got 7,503 votes 

Candidate of the PDP, Sim Fubara has won in about 12 LGAs declared so far.
